Houston Sprinkler Fix operates houstonsprinklerfix.com. This page describes, without legal padding, what happens to information submitted through this site.
Submitting the contact form transmits the name, phone number and email address entered; the service address and, if chosen, the area of the metro; whatever is written in the description field; the page the form was submitted from; and the submitting IP address, which is retained solely as a spam control.
A single purpose: passing the enquiry to one independent, licensed Texas irrigator covering that part of the Houston metro, so that they can make contact about the fault described. It goes to one irrigator rather than into a bidding pool. Nothing submitted here is sold, and nothing is passed to advertisers or data brokers.
The phone number published on this site routes through a call service. Where a call is answered by voicemail, the recording and any transcript of it are treated exactly as a form submission is — used to route the enquiry to an irrigator, and not for anything else.
Google Analytics runs site-wide and sets cookies in order to count visits and to show which pages people arrive on. Advertising pixels may be enabled at some point to reach people who have visited before; where they are, they set cookies too. Both are refusable from browser settings at any time, and refusing them does not affect the contact form.
Enquiry records are kept while they are useful for following up a job and for dealing with any dispute that arises from it, and no longer. A request to have a record deleted, or to see what is held, should be sent through the contact form — describing the request in the message field is enough, and we will handle it from there.
This site is aimed at property owners and is not directed at children. Information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 13.
Houston Sprinkler Fix is a referral service. It does not perform, and does not offer to perform, irrigation work, and it holds no irrigator license. Any work that follows an enquiry is carried out by an independent licensed irrigator under their own company name and their own license number, on their own terms, and their handling of information they receive is theirs rather than this site’s.
